Service was extremely slow; food was not as good as previous when Peter owned it. Many times we had to ask more than once to bring things like bread, ordered another glass of wine and it never came...had to remind them several times. Not pleased at all. Will never go back again.
Amazing and Creative cuisine, friendly and experienced staff, and exquisite ambience makes this our favorite italien restaurant in downtown Sarasota. The intimate and dimly lit bar is the perfect place to go and have a glass of wine and an appetizer. We always request Karen as our server and she always makes us feel special. We give this restaurant 5 stars all around.
CasAntica Ristorante is the finest Italian restaurant in Sarasota. We enjoy dining on the roof top, in the beautiful courtyard, or especially in the fire place room. The food and service are outstanding. Some of our favorites include the Jumbo Shrimp in FILLO Dough, the Buffalo Mozarella and Prosciutto, Spaghetti Carbonara, Linguine Pescatore, NY Strip Steak, Nodino Di Vitello, Veal Francese, and for dessert Peach Sorbet or Tiramisu.
