My daughter left her kindle in the room. I was told if I bought a shipping label(which I did) that they would send it back. Still waiting a month late and no one will call me back to discuss. Room was fine- floors were dirty- my daughters socks were filthy after walking on them. Location was great- near the beach. As soon as I get my kindle back I will amend this review.

I wanted to pick a romantic spot to take my husband while I was in Santa Cruz running a women's summit. Our stay at the Casablanca Inn was the perfect blend of beachside serenity and convenience. Room was dirty and worn beyond normal wear and tear. Walls had gunk splattered everywhere, microwave was disgusting and had food stuck all over, shower heads were gross, torn bed frames, unmatched curtains, dirty floors..felt more like a cheap motel inside room. We tried to avoid the room as much as possible. Pictures on website are deceiving. When asked to clean things that had to do with food and hygiene that were really gross, they never did.
