Best authentic Mexican Food in Tampa Bay Area Casa Tina's is the BEST authentic Mexican in the area. It has been a family owned business for 17 years in the same location and has recently moved next door into larger quarters. The owners – Tina and Javier Avila can always be found in the restaurant helping out and talking to the customers. They are two of the most involved restaurant owners I have ever met! The service from the wait staff is great and many of the staff has been employed at Tina’s for years. Venture out fr... read more

Absolutely Authentic Mexican Absolutely authentic Mexican. Their conqueso is made with 3 types of cheese and wonderfully seasoned, and rolled in tortes just as it should be. Their Sangria is the best Ive tasted. They are very reasonably priced considering they are gourmet. They have excellent service. Call ahead for a party of 7 or more.

Excellent Gourmet Mexican This is the best Mexican food this side of the Gulf! The menu is diverse with offerings of seafood, meat and vegetarian. The sauces are terrific. The portions are generous. The prices are reasonable. The dining room is small and this is a popular place. Be prepared for a short wait. But the service is quick.

Casa Tina is a dangerously bad restaurant I just ate at Casa Tina. This restaurant prides itself on being for vegetarians. This is a dangerously bad restaurant. I am a vegetarian. I told this to the waiter. He said no problem. I ordered a vegetarian burrito. It came with beans and rice. But what arrived was a beef burrito and the beans and rice were made with animal fat. i have a beef allergy. i thought it was wierd...the burrito was cold. I ate a small amount of beans and rice and 2 bites of the burrito when i realized it w... read more

Im not hugely into Mexican so when I find a place that impresses, it says a lot. This place was head and shoulders above the other mexican/cuban restaurants around Clearwater. Good strong drinks and tasty fresh food. Plus they had a performer swinging from the ceiling. What more can you ask for?

Casa Tina is a real Mexican restaurant with many authentic dishes not found even in large Mexican spots. I must confess I am so captured by the fish tacos that I have ordered little else from the menu. Casa Tina is part of Dunedin's fantastic lineup of stores and restaurants on Main Street. On some Friday nights they even show movies in the nearby park - movies and tacos .. what more do you want?

Fresh Mexican food! – First of all, I would like to point out the reviews from 08 and earlier are no longer relevant, as the restaurant has gone through an expansion and upgrade since then. I have NEVER had a bad experience. I always have great food and great service. I have lived in the area my entire life and even before the revamp I had good food. If you order american tacos and flutes, both beef, you will get two different flavors from both. They use different ingredients for every dish!

BEST Mexican Food and Atmosphere – My husband and I would go here every day if we could! We LOVE every menu item we've tried and the servers are all very friendly and personable! An absolute favorite for family or a night out on the town! You've got to try it to believe how good it really is!

Not a Taco Bell – Casa Tina, is a great place to dine, the staff is friendly, great bar, outside and indoor dining. . I am not a authority on Mexican Food, but every time we have dined the dinner has been delicious. This is a great place to bring your elderly parents. Easy access. Great place to come on a Saturday afternoon.
