I live in Placerville and eat here frequently. The last time I looked it had over a dozen five star recommendations on Tripadvisor that seem to have disappeared. The food is terrific (I like the seafood burrito). The salsa is wonderful. The service is almost always excellent. The décor is comfortable and attractive. I’ve eaten at probably a hundred Mexican restaurants. Of those three or four were really good, but Casa Ramos is the best.

Great Food! Casa Ramos is a lot of food for a reasonable price. The restaurant is very large and authentic Mexican. They can accommodate huge parties in their banquet room or seat you at a private table. Overall, I would recommend Casa Ramos to anyone who is in the mood for delicious Mexican food in a fun atmosphere.
It can get so loud in this restaurant that it's hard to even hear the people you are sitting at the same table with but pretty good food.
