For at least 10 years now we have been going here for Miguel's nachos. They are amazing and definitely worth it. If you haven't tried them get to it asap.
This particular Casa Ole was really good in the past, but the last few years, I have seen it go down, down, down. I frequent many of the Casa Oles in the area and am usually extremely pleased. But the one at Deerbrook Mall is supposed to be corporate, but doesn't have the same menus as corporate, makes enchiladas with FLOUR tortillas ( a big no-no), and if you go in the bar area, you have to beg the hispanic waitress to serve you. I was so thrilled to find out there was a case ole in Jasper after I moved here! The staff was great and the restaurant itself was quiet. It was a great experience and other than the food being cooked a little differently than I'm used to I loved it!
Fast and friendly service whether you want to eat in our take it home. Good food to top it all off.
Awful!! U have to pay for green salsa. Witch was nasty. My food was horrible. I all never be back.. :(
Waiter brought out guacamole instead of green sauce, and insisted that it was green sauce. Even my toddler tried it and said "that's guacamole".
My first obvious experience of racism was here at casa ole in deerbrook mall today 2/15/15. I am a black female that went to dine by myself. I was the second person to be seated in the bar area. A white group was there before me and 2 white groups came after me. The Hispanic waitress totally ignored me. She took the orders from the last 2 white groups then walked right pass me and went and asked if the first group that had already been there was doing okay. I USED TO LOVE THIS PLACE but it has gone down hill really fast and normally I would actually let minor things pass like the sloppy wait staff but now I ate there and the cheese enchiladas tasted like they went bad it was so disgusting. when im trying to pay they make me wait while they are on the phone making personal phone calls. management does not care it just sad a place that was once good is more of a joke
