We had dinner there tonight for the first time since the new owners..Hope the owner came by a few times to chat and check up on the food.. We both had Baked Ziti and it was amazing. The serving size was a lot which we don't mind.. I have lunch tomorrow.. Great service< Kim was very tactful as always.. We plan on returning next week..A 5 star for sure! :)
Casa Novello is one of the best Italian restaurants in southern Maine. Hope, the owner, is so welcoming and attentive to your needs. Her staff is on point and the food is amazing. There is a full bar. You might want to call in for a reservation. It gets busy.
My husband and I hadn’t been in to Casa Novello in several years. Tonight, the service was friendly and the food was good. We found the food portions to be much more appropriate at this visit - in the past, the portions were large enough to feed a small country. We found the heavy paper tablecloths to be a bit strange - especially for a restaurant that serves $30 plates.

Amazing food! Ate the Scallops Marsala with Tiramisu for dessert. Highly recommend. AND the waitress, Karen, was fantastic as was the owner, Hope, who took the time to speak with us-will definitely be returning to our new favorite Restaraunt
We’ve been long time customers of casa! We love the food and now the new and improve is even better!!! Hope the owner is a spilt fire and she knows her stuff!!! Definitely recommend Casa Novello;-)
The things I witnessed in this restaurant was beyond appalling. Do not waste your hard earned money on dining here. Food poisoning is not something that anyone deserves or should pay for. Management's lack of concern is unbelievable.
