The food is great and the employees are awesome!
We used to love this place. But the quality has really gone down hill. We ordered the guacamole for starters at market price and it was tiny. We didn't even get chips with it since they brought chips with the salsa and if I wanted more it meant I had to pay extra. When I'm paying $15 for guacamole that tasted blended with squash not full avocado I expect chips to come with it. The rest of our meal was OK but we decided we weren't going back. Our server, Shelly was awesome!!! She was a wealth of information for us as it was our first time in this area. The food was top notch and the drinks were fantastic!!! Five stars all the way around!!!
Casa Moreno, food was great. Service was great, and atmosphere was amazing. Mariachis on Friday night. Highly recommend this spot.
I'm not an expert on Mexican food, but I did enjoy my experience at El Camichin in Covina. I was debating between this one and Casa Moreno down the street, but this one looked less brunchy. I'm glad I made the right decision. On a Sunday afternoon, there was a short wait for a party of two. They were certainly busy with all the outdoor tables full too.
