We had a group event here. It was well received. Well vanished. I absolutely recommend this restaurant and establishment.
My husband and I walked in to try this restaurant which we had never been to. We were excited. We were sat down and then about 7 minutes passed and no one had approached us to get our order not even our drink order. Another couple (white couple) was then sat after us and they immediately came to get their drink order. So we left. We definitely did not feel welcome. I guess our skin color doesn’t matter even in a Mexican food place. The irony I guess
Casa Moreno has that classic family‑run Mexican restaurant vibe. I ordered the chile verde, and the pork was tender with just the right amount of heat. The chips are a bit thicker than I prefer, but the salsa has good flavor. Solid choice for comfort Mexican food.
We came on a Saturday night for dinner. We expected there to be a long wait to be seated but that was not the case. The host happened to be on the phone when we came in but a server, Jason, greeted us right away and asked if we preferred indoor or outdoor seating.
