Get directionsMy husband and I had a great overnight stay in their cat-friendly room (we're told it's the only cat-friendly hotel in town). The room was clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff were kind and there was an attached restaurant for a convenient meal after a long day of driving. Goat Hill hiking trail was nearby and was a nice way to stretch our legs and enjoy a gorgeous view. We're glad we stayed here!
Howard Johnson sign but the hotel has another name also. Very old building. Room was clean but shower head squirted water all over floor and you could not adjust. Floors were stick on rubber looking tiles that moved up and down when u walked. Bed and linens outdated. I expected more from Howard Johnson.
They should be embarrassed for charging the price they do. I paid $92 thinking I would get a decent room with decent continental breakfast. The room is literally a $45 room. The restaurant is highly over priced and the service is horrible. The grab and go breakfast is a joke. I am not saying this out of anger, I'm just telling the God's honest truth. Do yourself a favor and keep driving past this place. I wish I would have read the reviews before making the reservation.
KEEP DRIVING !!! Wish I didn't Have to use 1 Star...this rundown, poorly managed motel and restaurant were Very Rundown Inside...peeling paint in bathroom...an old rundown motel with Howard Johnson Wyndham on their banner you would think a good place for a Comfort Food meal. Restaurant was overpriced for only a Mexican tv dinner menu of selections. The Wyndham name made us stop here. Reflecting back on this, I think this motel bought 2 banners using names that would entice travelers to stop. Wish we had kept driving as I spe... read more
The good: we asked for things like towels, etc and got them within a few minutes. The bad: very expensive for what it is. Close to $200 for something that should be $60. The breakfast to go is a baked snack like danish, an apple and a little juice cup. The ugly: pool is broken. Door to the bathroom was broken. Grill? Probably no propane. Oh if we buy a propane, we can definitely try to grill. Just need to bring a lighter as well.
