We've been eating at Chris and Liz's restaurant since 1978. Food atmosphere and service are exceptional, prices are moderate for Central Texas. Enjoyed every visit, we eat there 1-2 times each month. Don't believe Mandy P review, if you want private dining, maybe don't go to a restaurant near a mall at Christmas time. I have seen staff graciously handle obnoxious customers in the past.
Mediocre food. Horribly slow service. Don't bother expressing your dissatisfaction, they'll just blame you and then try to cause a scene, trying to make you look like the bad guy. Explained to "Manager" that we were unhappy with our seating in the "loud family room" with all the large tables full of 5 y/o's and younger when we were trying to have a nice dinner/date night...
