As much as I would like to support a hometown chain, I've continued to be disappointed with Casa even after eating at the different locations at least 8 times over the last few years. The dishes that I have ordered have been mediocre at best. And each time I go, I've been hoping for a good dish. The dishes haven't been really bad. They are just not really good. I've lived in California, NY and DC and I know good food when I have it. I guess for Fort Wayne, it’s a step up from Fazolis. But the thing that drove me to post this... read more
One of My Favorite Italian Restaurants – This has always been one of my favorite restaurants, which I like to go to often with my parents. I really like their meat ravioli and lasagna, and I LOVE their six layer chocolate cake! It isn't a trip to Casa without it, and if I'm full, it's definitely worth taking a slice home with me to eat later. It's a nice place to go to hang out with people, and I can't think of anything bad about them! Also, the complimentary bread there is quite good too!
Great food – it was really loud in here, but the food was great and the salad especially. like the warm bread too!
I love going to Casa! Their salad is the BEST that I have erer eaten the bread is excellent, pizza is exceptional(wood fired oven helps), and thier eggplant parmesan is unsurpassed. Sandwiches are also incredible, and I have never had a pasta dish there that I didn't like.
This has always been our (my fiance and I) favorite place to eat. As long as you go at the right time...service is great, food is quick and WONDERFUL.Stephanie
