As someone who has been lucky enough to sample several types of Latin cuisine and lived in Texas for nearly 20 years, I could conservatively say that I am a connoisseur of this type of food. Having said that, 90% of the food at this restaurant is awful. There are some good things, but those bright shining dishes are few and far between. We've got to go to Casa Garcia, they have the best bean dip & nachos, absolutely free when you are seated. Ask for Bernie, he's the best waiter.
The server took 15 minutes to get to my table and acknowledge my party. He took the order in a hurry and got about 3/4 of it wrong. All in all the food did not make up for the atrocious service.
Worth going there for the Nachos Garcia alone! Everyone is really nice there, too!
