A fine establishment! Went there with some friends before going to a show at the Florida Theater. Every employee was on their A-game. The cooks were very congenial and polite, offering good advice and suggestions to first time patrons like me; the lady recommending wine was a great conversationalist; and the owner/manager (Fred I think was his name?) had the charm of a man who knew how to treat a customer. My party never felt bothered. The staff will treat you like family. I can't wait to go back to pregame for my next show!
You just have to love the locals in Jax! The staff at Casa Dora were the real heroes of the evening. Went to see the Alice Cooper show last night @ Jacksonville Theater (awesome show!) But oh my lord, there is no where to eat!! Luckily Casa Dora was open especially for the event! Not only excellent food, but as soon as you walk in the door you become family! My only regret is that I couldn't try everything! We will be back!!
