Casa Del Mar Beachfront Suites I have been here 2 or 3 times and although it was quite a few years ago I still remember how nice it was. The outside looks like old wood but it is made to look that way and inside it is actually very new. They have one bedroom suites and I believe they also have two bedroom suites and most or all rooms have balconys. Its across the street from the beach but most hotels in Galveston are because of the seawall. It manages to have pretty decent views.
Good location for 2; CAUTION: Suite 388 -- VERY bad beds! – CAUTION! Location is good; close to many restaurants and things to do within walking distance. The employees were all VERY friendly and helpful. The condos have a small, yet nice floor plan for 2 people - but be VERY, VERY cautious about the beds if you are looking for any kind of comfort!
