Called to ask if there are any availabilities in four months, because MANY apartments post them and I was laughed at. Woman who picked up gave me attitude and said "Now how the hell would I know that." Extremely rude and unprofessional.
Casa De Sol apartments are over priced and poorly run. I moved into my apartment without it being cleaned, and when asked, Sue (the manager) told me that the cleaners just didn’t show up. Nothing happened after that, so my room was left dirty upon arrival. Previous tenants have left an old couch in the apartment, it is very dirty and rather large. I have spent a lot of time here and can tell you that these are terrible apartments with an awful manager. Save yourself some time and look anywhere other than this place.
I don’t live here, but I sure don’t recommend. Manager has no interest in helping guests. No answer to emails and much less phone calls for details or appointment. She made racist gestures and didn’t allow us to explain what we are looking for, our situation. She just stood at the door and said she didn’t have time to help.
Susan, the manager, runs a tight ship but the upkeep is second to none. An amazing, quiet place to live, picturesque pool area and convenient location. Best place to live near chapman university.
