I read somewhere that this place was a 'sister restaurant' to Casa Del Rey in San Dimas. I'm not sure if thats true, but the food is not as good as the Casa Del Rey. Thumbs up for the chile colorado Thumbs down for the salsa Servers are nice and friendly
Best Mexican Food I've found in the LA Area. – I love the food at this place! The portions are massive, the waitstaff is always friendly, the chips are fresh, and my boyfriend and I can eat there for less than $15 including tip and leave totally stuffed. I can't say enough good things about this place. I just wish they were open for lunch!
Charming Local Restaurant – I always passed this restaurant but never bothered to go in until a neighbor suggested I check it out. I'm so glad I did! The interior is really charming with its brightly colored hand painted wooden chairs. The staff is friendly and the complimentary chips and salsa are delicious. Yummy – my girlfriends and i like to meet here for dinner...its pretty good food and reasonalble. Last time we were there - we saw the ME from CSI - love that stuff
Nice neighborhood Mexican place – Food is good. Don't let the unassuming storefront fool you! Great spicy salsa, quality margaritas, and a neighborhoody feel that adds to the enjoyment of better-than-average Mexican food. The chile colorado is good, as is the chile verde. I can't believe I was put off for so long by the unpromising exterior (it looks nothing like a Mexican restaurant from outside).
