This home was chosen by relatives of mine for my grandfather. I did not agree with their decision and it has been a very hard adjustment. The staff has not been helpful. When we call to check on him they are rude. They tell us we are not allowed to cry even though we are not allowed to call or see him. It hurts to know that he is helpless and all alone. I have found that this is not a nice home for the elderly. The staff that runs it is not professional, compassionate or helpful. We are not allowed to see out loved one or even call to check on them. Our experience with Casa Contenta has been terrible.They should not be open and they are lying. There is no open door policy. We have been denied visitations and have been placed on 1 hour limits for whatever visits they do allow.
