Casa Bolero has a great environment. Whether you're there for a full meal or a drink to begin your night out, this place doesn't disappoint.
Street tacos.... filling was great NOT the gross hard corn tortilla.... Guacamole was amazing Scallops were awesome Food was awesome... HOWEVER... I didn't know tapas meant that my order would come out 1st. Then 10 mins later another plate. Got there at 7. By 8:30... we finally got the last dish. SERVER WAS RUDE as well as the hostess. Delicious, great service. Loved the tapas and the guac!!!!
Food was good. Not great, but good. Service was poor. As a former server/bartender in the service industry for 8+ years, I understand that mistakes happen and some things are out of your control. Maybe it's the "tapas" type of dining, but dishes came out at all different times, the last one coming 30+ minutes after the previous. Food was very good, some was excellent. Mojitos were spot on, probably should muddle the mint though. Service was very poor. We had a large group so some problems/delays could be expected. However, we had to ask for water several times, as well as chips and guac. Guacamole was really good though, once we got it. Meals came out a couple at a time, the last one coming out after everyone else was finished. Not the servers' fault. Kitchen needs to get it together.
Great food. Service wasn't great. People who came in after us received their food first. Waitress gave a lame excuse.
