I wasn't a big fan of the food... Tried it the other day, thought the burger was not cooked throughly. I have had much better food for a better price.
Walked in and placed an order to go, I waited about 10 minutes for my burger, which I thought was pretty impressive considering it was in the middle of lunch . I ordered the "Barnyard Burger" which was OUTSTANDING. I paid $13 for a burger and drink. I thought was a little pricey but given the quality of the burger and the fact its a local business I didn't mind the price too much. Thanks for the awesome lunch, you have definitely made a customer for life.
I made my first visit to Carytown Burgers & Fries last Friday at their Short Pump location. I have to say that was one of the BEST burgers I have ever had. The food is excellent. The service was very good BUT, it was VERY SLOW!. This could be detrimental to the lunch crowd. I do have one suggestion, there were so many options and so many things I wanted to try. They should offer sliders and let you pick the three flavors you want to taste. Just a thought......
After hearing rave reviews from friends about carytown burgers (lakeside) so I decided to order today for lunch. Called to place order for delivery and was told it'd be 45 mins.Thought that was a bit long to wait but decided it'd prob be worth it. Sadly I waited over an hour and had to call for an update. The food finally arrived but was cold and soggy. Kinda disappointed with this first experience.
Awesome burgers and those cheese fries - delicious ( sometimes little too salty but great)
I tried the Short Pump location tonight and had a terrible experience. After we got seated two other tables got seated and got waited on immediately. It took five minutes for me to even get someones attention to come over to the table. That employee was very helpful and ended up taking care of us but the server that was supposed to be ours from the start did not come over until we had been sitting for 20 minutes and already ordered with someone that I don't even think was a server.
