I had severe pain in my left arm and was losing function. Dr. Idler performed a C-6 C-7 fusion and it resolved the problem immediately. The recovery was a breeze. He and his staff were always easily available to answer questions. I couldn’t ask for a better experience.
Dr. Idler and PA Maddie performed my surgery yesterday. I am extremely pleased with the care that’s been given to me, from my first consultation in the office through surgery yesterday. At this point I would highly recommend Dr. Idler and this office.
Dr Idler did my back surgery and had great outcome However he told me my future will hold a fusion and I'm ok with that because he is the one I would have do it. Very great listener and helps you make the right decision
Dr. Idler is a thorough Dr. He explained the problem and the recommended procedure well. He is low key and gentle. He listened to everything I had to say and explained my symptoms well.
Dr idler has done surgery on my back 4 times since Jan of 20016 and I have had amazing results I have degenerative disks and just got released yesterday from 4 th surgery 1 was cyst removed 1 was plate in neck 1 was rod in back 1 was bulging disk Dr Idler is not Knife happy and will not try and talk u into anything, he is a man of few words but gets the job done mine are a great testament to his work as I could barley walk and am now pain free
During my first (and consequently my last) appointment with Dr. Idler, he spent less than five minutes with me concerning a fractured vertebrae. He did not review my file from previous visit with physician n his practice, but prescribed two medications (one opioid) I did not request that (according to another orthopedist) should not have been prescribed in conjunction with the other medications noted in my file. In seeking a second opinion, I found much more professional advice.
Dr. Idler and Ms. Burnham our consummate professionals. I have flown in from Washington DC because of the rave reviews of Dr. Idlers work. They have fixed my back and given me back a life. I could not give them a higher recommendation.
Dr. Idler did an excellent job in diagnosing my specific spinal issue and he recommended a minimally-invasive type of surgery. He helped me a lot by talking with me about the alternatives to surgery and giving me the information I needed to make a good decision. I decided on surgery, and I'm satisfied that I did. The excruciating pain was gone immediately after surgery. I am completely happy with my experience from beginning to end. The office staff is always helpful and friendly.
I expect my doctors to see me within 30 minutes of an appointment or have their staff come to me and explain the problem. Waiting for him 75 minutes and still no sign he's coming is unacceptable to me. Also, I feel that he may have misdiagnosed my condition. This matter is unresolved at present but I feel that this doctor did not listen to what I said and did not respond appropriately.
