We checked out Cary Ale House last night for beer and dinner. The beers were excellent, the bartender was super friendly and attentive, and the food was amazing. No question about it, we'll be back soon!
Now that I've come down from my food high, I can write a coherent review. We are new to Illinois and decided to venture out. I chose Cary Ale House simply from Yelp reviews and my family is happy I did. The homemade food and cocktails are amazing. I have a soy allergy and the waiter made sure I was all good for the Pub Burger and the chef would adjust anything that was touched by soy. Poutine had maybe one half ounce of duck in it, if that. Insanely loud in this place. Jet engines aren't as loud as the screaming brats running up and down in here. Beers where outstanding! Good concept, needs some tweaking. Would be a great place without all the screaming brats. We will try again some time later in the evening.
Never had any food here, but the beer selection is fantastic. Great place to come for a drink with some friends.
