Terrible! Absolutely not! My girlfriend and her family had been taking their cars there for years and raved about the place. Recently she took her car in because it was overheating. Carver examined the vehicle and told her it needed a new head gasket ($2000). She was pretty upset and considering getting a new vehicle all together. She called and asked if there was anything they could do to "patch it up" to get her by. They said they could not, and that they only did quality work. Best in the Biz!!! No over charging, outstanding. – Best in the Biz! After years of visits to their shop I changed after moving to West Saint Paul for a more convenient location. BIG mistake. The Carver guys are car geniuses, that don't over analyze or over charge. Called them with a question about a concern of a poor job at a West St. Paul shop, knew the problem and analyzed their mistake with out even seeing the car. Highly recommend! Only downfall is can be a bit of a wait...but all good things are worth waiting for.
won't go anywhere else – I've been going here since I got my first car. Since then I've moved to the other side of the twin cities but I'll still drive here if I can manage it. I hate going other places because I always feel like I'm getting scammed or they're trying to add on more "repairs" for me to pay for. At Carver, I know that they'll be honest with me and fix my car, the first time, at a reasonable price. Ask for Bob, they're all great, but he's the best.
All Auto Repair Shops Should be like Carver!! – From the moment we first went to Carver 13 years ago, we knew that we would be well taken care of!! They are honest, efficient AND reasonably priced!
