This is my favorite restaurant ever. We drive from Allen every year to have it for our anniversary. Their food is delish. I get their bacon burger every time and this year we got their fried pickles with ranch, oh man, so good. And their ice is yummy too, hehe!
Love the Country Fried Steak platter. One of my favorite go-tos when I'm in town and the staff are friendly and attentive. Highly recommend checking it out if you are looking for some good southern cooking!

My veterans group meet weekly for lunch around Denton. Cartwrights has been one of our favorite places to meet and eat, always great wait staff and excellent food

First visit. In town for Daughter's UNT auditions. Just happened to see Cartwright's when I parked on the Square. I might have found a home away from home. Great Chicken Fried! Perfect medium basted eggs, splendid biscuits, outstanding gravy, and the grits were "textbook" texture! Staff was delightful....service was superb! Best breakfast I've had in a long while. Will return soon to try the catfish. (Auditions went well) Many thanks!
