The website stated that it was Open from 9 to 5 on Friday and that it was currently open. We arrived about two 2:30 in the afternoon and the doors were locked and there was someone walking around inside that just kind of ignored us and pretended we were not there. We would’ve liked to been able to at least go in and look around even if I needed an appointment to talk to someone. Very disappointing!

My sister and brother in law recommended Carter Lumber for my parents kitchen remodel. We stopped up there on 5/7/24, around 3:15pm, and did notice the sign on the window that said there may not be a designer there and you will have to make an appointment. Totally understandable as we were just looking. There was a guy that was sitting over by the hand rails, working on his computer and wouldn't even acknowledge us and say hey, there's no designer, heres a card if you want to make an appointment. Our friends recommended this place for a kitchen remodel, we stopped in one day last month 2 or 3 hours before the posted closing time and the girl turned off half the lights and locked the door right after we walked in. We didn't have an appointment and weren't expecting to sit down with anyone but just wanted to look around at options and colors.
