Horrible Experience – Rude and Disrespectful Receptionist This was our first time donating blood, and it turned out to be a terrible experience. The female receptionist working on Sunday, February 16th, 2025, at 11 AM, was extremely rude and disrespectful to both me and my wife, simply because of my wife's English. Instead of being patient or understanding, she refused to let me translate for my wife and spoke to us in a harsh, dismissive manner. Hello, your receptionist today was really rude and please teach her how to respect blood donors.
My husband and I always stay together on our doctors visits and we’ve never been told that a spouse needs to leave the exam room. Allen’s blood center refused for me to be with my husband in the tiny room where they were checking him in for his donation. 35 years of marriage and this place’s whatever position the black lady had shut the door on me. I’ve donated blood for over 15 years and this is a FIRST that I cancel my donation visit!!
