I’m a regular at this donation center, and every experience is positive. The staff are consistently friendly, welcoming, and professional, happy to answer any questions asked or to keep the process mysterious for folks who are nervous but give anyway. The core team who is there on my regular donation days—Jenny, Ruby, Amaya, and Vincent—are great at their jobs and build a strong sense of community and support. I have always had good experiences with Carter. That is true for all locations and mobile donations too. I was planning to donate platelets for the first time today. I was planning for 2 hours as they say on their website but should have planned for more than three. Check in took 30 minutes even though I did the questions online in advance. My check in person said it would be about a 10 minute wait to start the process. I waited thirty minutes.
