The atmosphere is ok the food is very mediocre. Along the lines of cheap bar food. It seemed more like fillers than real food. Like I had a sinus infection and couldn't taste anything but no that's what the food was . I was disappointed to say the least.
Really awesome birria tacos. The spicy street corn with a side of their hot sauce is a "side" that screams "delicious main" - phenomenally good! The place was clean and well staffed.

Service was really good. Tacos were just okay - they were good but left a bit more to be desired. Chips and Guacamole were great.
My wife and I have started going to Cartel Taco Bar every week, which I’m pretty sure officially makes us “regulars”… or possibly “problems.” Hard to tell. She gets tipsy on their margaritas because they’re amazing and we both eat like two ex cons fresh out of prison. From maximum security to Maximum tacos.
