History Established in 2008. Originally, the intent was just to roast and sell whole bean coffee. But people began loitering, so we began building tables and educating baristas. We've now grown throughout Arizona.

The atmosphere is nice. There is a lot of place to sit and enjoy in a variety of ways. There are plenty of plugs and places to set up shop if you need some privacy and also places to lounge for a cozier chatting area. I wasn’t impressed with the decaf options (yes, this is a coffee place but decaf is important too). I always make time for Cartel coffee when visiting Tempe. Best lattes in world, the staff is friendly, and there's tons of seating available. Fantastic coffee shop.
I love place I do miss the excellente (Horchata and espresso shot)
