My Doctor, Carsten Kampe...I do have such a high regard for him as a person as well as a physician. I truely felt he cared at first meeting. To make a long story short...I went to several surgeons & had no hopeful news. Dr. Kampe researched to find a treatment for me because my only other option I discovered, was to "have a surgeon remake body parts....by basically "tearing up my colon & also my esophagus" so I may live, maybe. During our visit on Thursday, 1/22, Dr. Kampt shared an update on Marvin's condition. Dr. Kampt shared some results of the latest scans which were concerning. He ordered a PET scan which was done on Friday, 1/23. Dr. Kampt is honest, straight forward and addressed our questions. He had additional new information for us to review concerning the medicine Marvin is taking. We all agreed on the adjustments made. Dr. Kampt is truly a profession and excellent in his field.
Dr Kampe was wonderful.
