Had a dryer making noises, but still drying. Scheduled with Carson Appliance... he didn't come that day. Scheduled again... and this time he was an hour late. He quickly said, "dryer needed a new motor", without even checking the dryer. Cost of motor would be about $230.00 or more, plus his time. I said, "no thanks" and was charged $45.00 for his expert opinion. Got a second opinion, and that guy FIXED the dryer and the "drum roller" part was $15.00. The motor was fine and the dryer is working great again.
