Visited today with my autistic son and younger 4yo son who is on the spectrum as well. We met with Dr. Harper last week who seemed nice. This week he wanted to see my eldest son to f/u & swab him for strep. HORRIBLE experience with this doctor. He wouldn't do the swab. Seemed like he couldn't be bothered. I probably should've prefaced this with the fact that I worked as a CMA at Wellstar ENT for many years and I have never met a doctor who was that incompetent. My son is nine years old. Great place to go the doctor. Every doctor here is good! Been a patient here since 2012. Even if I was sick with ear nose and throat problems.
Dr gambrelle is a very sweet and smart doctor but it is VERY aggravating coming here because I will be waiting in the room for a while and hear him in the area outside the door chit chatting with the nurses laughing and talking about off the wall stuff. It upsets me because if a patient is there to be seen and sitting there for a long period there is NO TIME to chit chat. I'm sure I'm not the only one this happens too. Someone needs to address this problem!! This is an every time I go here thing !!
