James helped me with a commercial property in La Jolla. The tenant wanted the owner to refinish the floors and James came out and recommended a deep cleaning instead to save some money and make the tenant happy. Throughout the process, James was extremely professional, his staff arrived on time and they did a wonderful job. The tenant saw the floor and was not happy with the satin finish so I asked James what we could do and without hesitating he said we could put another coat of shiny finish. James and Dave did such a wonderful job installing our reclaimed barn fence oak floors. They transformed our living space and we love it! James is a true craftsman who takes pride in his work. Reclaimed wood can be unpredictable-the charm that comes from its wear and flaws can make it difficult to work with. (Not to mention our 89 year old house with its uneven subfloor!) But James was up to the challenge, listened to our concerns, gave great advice, and created a beautiful floor. Thank you!
