Pamela Carroll is without fail the worst Healthcare person I have ever had The Misfortune of dealing with. She is highly unprofessional, she will not return your messages or calls. You will run out of medication repeatedly. She has been off the radar for over two and a half months with no way to contact her. She claims she is working at Meridian healthcare in Gainesville but she is not. She has missed multiple appointments with dozens of people. Has tried to change me medication when I am not comfortable with it. My last appointment my medications weren't called in for 3 weeks after my appointment and then she called me saying she wants to discuss why I call my refill in 2 days early a month , well duh I KNOW she's not going to call my medication in right away and I don't want to run out, don't need to have anxiety over my anxiety medication !!! Super unhappy. She can sometimes be very understanding but a lot of the time she seems preoccupied.
She is a nurse practioner, NOT a psychiatrist, something she told me that she was. She told me I have illnesses that weren't down on paper; she told me I was diagnosed with illnesses, and-or so I read in my records- diagnosed with me something entirely different in my records. And she told me my insight into illness is "poor"? In my opinion, she's not equipped to handle those with mental illnesses. Horrible experience which made everything worse than when I first went.
I got two other opinions and they both said A.P.R.N. PAM CARROL had little or no knowledge. She is not a real doctor and I suffer because she is A.P.R.N. after this will only see a M.D.
Office person frequently overwhelmed and messages not relayed or answered. Very well skilled and knowledgeable as practitioner. Can always trust judgement.
Never available, always lets you run out of med's, never returns calls or messages .
She is an ARNP, She talks to u with a listening ear and perscribes the right meds, for your needs, very polite..
