I called 7/7/26 for an appointment for my husband that is having issues. We have UPMC Healthcare extended gold PPO plan. This means that when we are out of network, i.e. Pennsylvania they partner with Cigna Healthcare PPO. I work in PA and live in MD. So we can use the insurance anywhere in the US. I looked them up under are plan and they were listed as a provider that participated. I call to make an appointment and was told by Michelle that they dont take that insurance. Its PA insurance. I give this group a 0. I am old, on oxygen and use a walker. Today I traveled nearly 20 miles and unfortunately was on a back road behind farm equipment. So I was 12 minutes late for my appointment. The receptionist informed me I was late...duh and the doctor said I would have to reschedule. Considering all they had wanted to do was give me botox on my second visit, I'm sorry I was naive enough to schedule this one. Medicare should really pay attention to what they are paying out.

This place is a joke. I made an appointment as a new patient in December 2025 and couldn’t get in until March 2026. I arrived for my appointment today on time after driving an hour and within a minute they told me my insurance was not right. That the referral doesn’t match the insurance on file. I was like hmmm that’s frustrating because I called and checked multiple times that they received my doctors referral, that the new insurance card THEY required me to get was correct and that my appointment was good to go.
