This company is a joke. Anytime they come out to cut limbs off the lines they say it's the home owners responsibility to clean the mess. Now as far as I understand anytime I go and do work at someone's house my company is responsible for clean up. What makes them any different. Carroll EMC is over priced and their service is lousy.
I have to agree with Tim C. The cost for electricity is exorbitant. I also could not request a review of my electrical usage. I own 2 homes outside of Carrollton and rental units in, expensive Fulton County and Carroll EMC is far and above the cost of any. Yes, this is a monopoly and customer service is very poor. Shame on them.
Horrible company. Well over priced. Small home costs 100$ in 10 days, many of those days were with an empty house. Asked the company to come check our meter and they refused. This company takes advantage of the monopoly they hold over our area and price gouge. Horrible company ovoid if you have the choice.
Carroll EMC has a 3.1 star rating with 129 reviews.
