We had to make the hard decision to put our dog down in February. We came here because it was after hours at our previous vet when he got very sick. The staff was so kind and caring to us and our boy that night. We decided to bring both of our other dogs here for the first time and are so happy we did! Our boy Max is TERRIFIED of going to the vet. Everyone was so kind and patient with him. Dr. Lang and Dr. Willis were both so wonderful. You're staff was absolutely wonderful to me and my sweet boy yesterday. We came in with a scary eye injury from his house mate. The staff handled him with extreme care and love as well as me and got him fixed right up. I don't have words to properly express how much that meant to me and him and how thankful we are.

We brought our dog here yesterday for an emergency. 1st we called around 1pm told them what was happening they said we have an appointment for 6:45 an we told them how is that possible it’s an emergency the. They said ok we can work you in around 3:15. We advised them we believe she had a stroke. Walking in circles, couldn’t see, right side paralysis. We are the only animal hospital in Carroll county to see emergencies on the weekends so we are often booked completely and as was the case on Saturday, overbooked. We do our best to help any pets and families that need us but try to always be upfront about wait times so that families can decide what works best for their situation. I would never take another animal to this facility. The process of having my beloved dog humanly euthanized yesterday was the worst experience. He was in so much pain the way they were holding him down. It was an emotional nightmare.
My daughter had to take her cat on Thursday evening for an emergency. Our Vet was out of town. They had her leave a $450.00 deposit. During the trip there the kitty had pooped and wet herself and was a mess. They assured my daughter they were going to take her back and bathe her. The next morning all the tests they had run was a blood panel and a glucose test. No xrays or other things were done.
