1 star for the Mortgage company.. 5 (FIVE) stars for 2 people in particular. Our mortgage has been through Carrington for a few years now.. and even with our previous mortgage company, Crystal Quintanilla has been BY FAR the easiest, most knowledgeable representative for Carrington I have ever come across. My co-borrowers and I have dealt with many many people over a length of time from Carrington that you start to notice a pattern of behaviors that show how the company is run. Very out of touch marketing. I get emails saying I should tap into my home equity of...$0. I have equity, to I'd take my business elsewhere. I would recommend they get their data integrations straightened out and market to people correctly. I have repeatedly asked them to correct this or remove me from emails and I hear nothing back. Pretty sure that's a CAN-SPAM act violation, which could be a penalty of up to $51,744 per individual email that violates the law. I have about 5 so far.
