They purchased my loan from another company and sent a letter saying that I don't have to worry about anything. All information has and will be transferred over. Carrington processed a monthly payment after our loan was paid off and refuses to refund the money. Don't get a loan with them. File a complaint with California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) for any issues with them.
Carrington is the reason all of my bank accounts have simultaneously been levied this week because they grossly misshandled paying my property taxes since 2023. I have spent ungodly amount of time on the phone with them trying to get this rectified to no avail. They dropped the ball over and over and I'm the one that is being affected by it, they could care less if I can't feed my kids or pay my mortgage because of THEIR error.
