Dr Schulman saved my life. Her staff are exceptional. So glad that my rheumatologist sent me to see her again Dr. Schulman saved my life . I had spinal stenosis surgery.
After surgery in April I had an MRI in August for a follow-up appointment. It shows more herniated discs that she did not address at the time of surgery. I have to have a referral for a new neurosurgeon that might be a little more educated so that I can have yet another surgery. I leave messages and they say they'll get back in touch with me within 48 hours. That is unacceptable to me because I've been to the ER three times and there's nothing they can do. Seek another surgeon.
Very professional and takes time to listen to her patients.
Terrible bedside and customer service. Rude staff and the doctor will not see much of you and make each visit awkward. This office manager is great but it doesn’t leak into the staff and seems the surgeon sets the tone. I work with surgeons all the time and have never experienced such a feeling of being a burden to be a patient. The surgery went better than expected. Dr. Shulman has an excellent staff who assist me throughout the process. After one week of surgery, I feel much better. I would recommend her to anyone who was experiencing back pain.
