I had her for two surgeries. She would not approve one day off of work despite her NP saying it was fine, before my 'emergency' scheduled surgery. Why? I have no idea. Truly heartless. I was in a ton of pain, couldn't sit, and needed a surgery immediately. She completely downplayed the recovery for surgery, saying I could be back to work in 1-3 days. A complete lie. I was happy with how the exam went and how I was put at ease. Went better than I expected.
The doctor, the medical tech, the student with the doctor and her PA were all very professional, compassionate and I appreciated the time they took with me.
Dr Carrie Peterson is a talented physician and surgeon. I have 100 percent confidence in her abilities. She explained everything in a way I could understand, recommending the best options so I could be part of the process. At each appointment, I had my list of questions. Dr Peterson always took the time to listen, answer my questions and was very respectful. The major surgery she performed was laparoscopic, therefore less invasive for quicker healing.
