Aiken was lovely and the location was good. The inn was average, the room was subpar. It is mostly just a collection of used furniture in rooms that are musty. The breakfast was blah. The outdoor areas are lovely.
This place was really nice- an old house with attention to detail. Right in the middle of town but quiet. Staff were friendly and breakfast was decent (traditional American breakfast buffetl).
As a travel agent, I had the opportunity to tour the Carriage House Inn with Summer, who was very welcoming. The outdoor area was charming, and it was clear the staff takes great care in keeping everything clean and well-kept. I was told most rooms were full, which speaks to how well they run their business. I’m very thankful they allowed me to visit ❤️
