The only thing I can say about Dr Carr is that he should have got involved. His nurse, Floorine, is a nightmare. She hateful, vengeful, and rude. She will interfere in how the doctor takes care of you. I would just recommend going some place else. I am in the process of researching how to personally complain against here with the BON.
Dr. Carr, in connection with my orthopedic hand surgeon, treated me for almost 2 months for a cat bite that became septic. My previous doctors had not been able to stop the infection. After 4 1/2 months total, I was healed. I will always be grateful for Dr. Carr's knowledge and expertise.
Dr. Carr managed my care until I moved away 5 and half years ago. He is a great doctor who sincerely cares about his patients and their wellbeing.
He is an uncaring person. He is incompetent and is a terrible person.
My husband was traveling in Nashville on business in late February 2017 and became ill, he visited St Thomas Midtown ER and was admitted to ICU. Dr McNabb and Dr Carr became his Infectious Disease Drs and are credited for saving his life. We highly recommend them for any of your needs involving this specialty. Both are very personable too and give excellent care in a professional manner.
Doctor Carr's office is a nightmare. His front desk assistant Francine is combative and rude. I had to follow up over 5 times and still have not received results from testing. He shooed me out of his office in under 15 min. Awful. I will never return to this practice.
