I visited AutoZone on Thursday, February 12, 2026, to purchase a battery for my key fob. I already had the old battery in my hand and simply asked the associate at the front desk if they sold replacement key batteries. Instead of just answering the question, she immediately responded that they do not open keys or install the batteries — which I did not ask her to do.
