Do Not purchase a vehicle from this dealer. Bought a 2000 Silverado. Had it for less than two weeks and less than 200 miles and transmission and ubolts went out. Over $2000 in repairs. Owner would not contribute to repairs. Basically said it's the risk I took buying a car from him. He has no integrity nor a sense of responsibility or accountability. Keep scrolling if you see a car advertised by this dealer.
Drove over 100 miles to buy a vehicle from them that they swore up and down they would drive to California and back with got half way home heard some grinding going on needed a rear axle replaced the axle the next morning two days later the transmission went out have had nothing but problems with this thing for the last three weeks that I've owned it
Stopped to check out some vehicles and met Chad. Great guy, very accomodating and knowledgable. He is the new owner and is ready to do things right. Dont let the negative reviews throw you, this is a new dealer with integrity. Check this lot out!
My husband & I purchased a vehicle from here & was very impressed. Although the vehicle broke down after a few miles, we took it to our mechanic and never saw a bill. The owner of Lonsdale Auto & Sales paid for it. With Lonsdale being a small town, word travels fast when there is something wrong. But the good stuff is ignored. From what I have heard from others that have purchased vehicles from here and they have also been very happy with their purchases. I highly recommend this place of business to purchase a vehicle.
Wish I would have read this before I purchased a vehicle from them. Purchased a car on Saturday, drove it home (less than 100 miles) and drove it two-three days later and the car would not start Had to have it towed. Called them and they said well if it was a couple of days later they would help but not now. STAY VERY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALER CROOKED AND DON'T BELIEVE HIM when he uses his credibility with a car dealership in Cambridge. They have integrity as you will find out this dealership does not.
Stay away from them. They sold us a van they advertised as one owner and it was a donor vehicle. It ran for about 300 miles and then died. The problems were covered up with fluids and quick fixes. They purchased from an auction that was just donor vehicles and did not disclose. Very unethical. As he handed us the title the owner said that their warranty was until it went out the driveway and if it broke in two a few blocks away...tough.
