Carpinteria is a lovely family beach that offers many choices of entertainment and of course, a safe beach where you’ll easily see dolphins, a whale now and then and plenty of seals. It offers surfing, kaiaking, and most restaurants, fast food,stores are within walking distance. This, with the Carpinteria State Beach year round tent and RV camping, makes for great memories. My family and I have camped here for over 20 years and visit at least once a month on day excursions. Carpinteria is a jewel on the SoCal coast!
RecommendedAlways beautiful Love Carpinteria I miss the beach so much . We do this at least once a year , nice upgrades and always clean.

Carp- the worlds safest beach, what else can be said? Oh yea, first fridays, Rod’s and Roses, Avocado Festival, small town and nice people. Seize the day
We love coming here for Christmas and seeing the smiles that our jeep “Rudolph” makes.

Love the low key, family oriented environment, food , beach, killer sunsets, great people, etc. What a great place to visit.

The ocean view is great. Easy access to the water. They are very strict with park rules, however I didn’t find them to be consistent with all campers.
