I didn't think I'd ever get my boyfriend out of this store. We left with carpet, the runner, glue, and other misolanace items.
My carpet shopping experience here was a complete disaster. I would never do business here again. Besides the delays and poor communication, the biggest reason was the product they sold me. I purchased wool carpet that was manufactured in California. Since it was a special order, there are no returns. No mention from the sales gal of any positives or negatives of wool carpet. Carpet One Floor & Home is a great store. So far I have only bought flooring for my house, but I intend to return to shop for furniture. All staff are wonderful, but Sam in particular is outstanding. I would also like to mention the contractors who installed my flooring: Steve Rice and his son Garrett of Cove Oregon did a superb installation job — I highly recommend them.
For my kitchen I chose 12" Marmoleum glue-down squares laid on the diagonal. Chris and Joe did a masterful job in their calculations and execution. The angles and corners are so perfectly aligned that guests think the flooring was laid down in one sheet. They take pride in their work and tackled some tricky bits involving crooked walls, uneven subfloor and a hatch cover with aplomb.
Definitely only place to use in Baker. Quality material and Quality work.
