Not what I would call caring attentive service for which I had the privilege of paying $80. Kept me wait more than 30 minutes for my appointment clearly their time is more important than anyone else. Funny the consultation was anything but thorough and while not rushed quite short. This is a practise based on turnover not the type of medical service I'm used to elsewhere.
I am not angry, I am just disappointed in the way my young daughter was turned away. We are visiting on holidays and our daughter woke with an apparent ear infection and in considerable pain. We attended the Cannonvale medical centre upon opening hoping to find an appointment. There was no one else there, but the abrasive lady behind the desk would not even acknowledge us qy first, then abruptly glared at me and sneered "can I help you?". Very very rude nurse spoke to me Like I was an idiot not a 52 year old woman , they charge you $80 as there is no bulk billing ( which was fine if they actually did something to help you) they did not help me with my pain in my leg as they do not give pain killers to anyone unless you are palliative ( so I found out after being there for over 90 minutes and charging you $80) no help with a staphylococcus infection no antibiotics given you will have to go to Proserpine Hospital so this medical practice will receive the invoic... read more
