Carpenter totally misrepresented the warranty work on an electric chain saw purchased at Menards. It was to be sent back to the factory for warranty repair. They cleaned it and charged me $25 for work that should have covered under warranty. So much for Menards warranty and so much for Carpenters ethics.
Friendly knowledgeable staff and timely repairs
I have brought my snowblower in two times over the last 5 years and they have fixed it quickly and did some added basic maintenance that makes it last longer and operate better. I recommend bringing your equipment here because they are quick to take it in, fix it and the repair costs are reasonable.

I have a lawn mower that had sat unused for a couple years, and when I started using it again, it ran very badly. I took it to Carpenter’s and was assisted by a very cordial gentleman who listened to my comments about the poor running, took some notes and stated he would call me within a couple weeks (the place is popular thus it was understood it might take a while), but in less time than that he called to say the carb would need replacement (for which I approved), and just a couple days later he called to say the mower now... read more
