Good location, so-so cuts I've had my hair cut here a couple of times. The location is convenient if you work downtown, but I found the salon to be only so-so and the stylists seem to be in transition a bit. PROS: Downtown location CONS: Salon prices for so-so style
Hair Salon I have been using this salon on and off for about 8 years now. They are in a great location downtown on 6th street. They have good hours, although they book up pretty far in advance so appointments can be hard to come by if you need your hair done for a spur of the moment event. My experience over the years with several of the stylists has been great. They do a great job on my hair, and not once have I walked out of their feeling displeased. Not all it's pumped up to look like & definitely over-priced. First of all when I went in to my appointment for my relaxer treatment, the girl told me they have an excellent new relaxing system and product that they would try on my hair that, in any salon anywhere else I have ever been in the last 15 years, contradicted some of the important things you never wanna do during and before a cream straightening relaxer. Upscale Hair Stylist I have always enjoyed my experince and my haircut at the Carpe Diem Salon. This salon is cutting edge as far as trend goes. It is right smack in the middle of downtown located on 6th street. The staff is trendy, friendly, and well trained. The prices are a little steep, but it is worth it for a good cut and color.
