Elegant and accommodating – Our family of 3 enjoyed Carpe Diem for dinner. Not only did my husband and I enjoy the beautiful decore, attentive service and delicious food and wine, but our 7 yr old son found it a memorable night. Although it is not intended to cater to children, the staff accommodated our son by improvising a chicken breast into "chicken fingers" with mashed potatoes. Great food, beautiful restaurant! – The food never fails to wow! The decor is fabulous! I really have a hard time finding faults! You can come in and order an "old favorite" like the warm goat cheese salad or the buttermilk fried chicken OR pick from their ever changing menu items! There is something there for everyone...even my young children enjoy it!

good date night restaurant – my wife and I just returned from a very pleasant meal at carpe diem. we will recommend this place to friends. we will return with our teenage daughters and we will return without them as well. food was very high quality, but wait staff was welcoming and friendly. not stuffy. requests were granted where possible. very acceptable alternatives were offered where requests could not be granted. credit a knowledgable wait staff. atmosphere was relaxing and conducive to conversation
Awsome Place – We went here during the Charlotte Restaurant week and were very impressed. The food was fantastic and so was the atmosphere. We even stayed quite a while after we had finished your meal and the wait staff remained very courteous.
Great! Great place to go for dinner and drinks in downtown charlotte. It is kind of pricey but well worth it!
Very friendly and great food – I went to Carpe Diem for the first time and was very pleased. They were more than accommodating when we asked to move tables to the back room, even though we know it can be annoying since we are in the restaurant industry. Our server, Angeli, was delightful and made the whole experience even better. "Carpe Diem did not seize the day" follow up – This is a follow up to my previous review "Carpe Diem did not sieze the day." While our experiences here were not what I had hoped, I was pleased to receive an e-mail of apology from one of the owners. This is definitely service at a high level. Most places would have let this go and figured it was just one customer lost. It also leads me to believe that our night may have been an isolated experience and would be willing to possibly come back in the future.
Good Place! Excellent food and many choices that sound great, plus some nightly specials. Loved the ambiance and the service was attentive. Very nice atmosphere!!
