We love the location of this campground because it is close to two of our children and grandchildren. We travel from GA to Camp Wilderness around Christmas time so that we can have family time with the grandchildren. We also enjoyed the Winterfest in the past. This year was extremely disappointing for our grandchildren that are very young and all that they had this year was a few toddler rides and Christmas lights they have absolutely done away with the parade. I stay here every year because it's located in a good area, but for years NO improvements have been made the site's get muddy when it rains, the bathrooms need renovation, the store on the site is really in need of good products and renovation, it's sad that no one sees or cares because this place has potential to be a good campsite....
